I've been trying different patterns for different stuff. I just recently got a sewing machine so I am super excited about making all kinds of things.

I have been trying to keep my house clean as of late. I had gotten kind of lazy there for a while, but I have been keeping stuff up pretty regularily. It makes me feel good. I have also been doing some "de-cluttering" of everything. I took a bunch of old boxes out to the garbage that I had been saving for no reason that I can think of. LOL I have a huge box of comics that I am hoping my hubby will go thru and decide which ones he wants to toss. I am trying to find a way to get my back storage room more organized instead of everything just being all thrown in and jumbled. LOL

I have been doing some different crafts. Right now I am working on a baby quilt for a babyshower this weekend. It's for a boy, so I am using different blues and yellows for a nice patchwork affect. I'll take a pic before i wrap it up.

Tired, Tired, Tired

I haven't been sleeping very well the last few days. It has resulted in me being extremely tired all the time. I tried going to bed earlier and it only resulted in me getting up earlier. I have some major stress going on in my life right now and I am trying to work through it. Crafts are always my favorite way of doing that. Last night I made my very first Patchwork Pin Cushion. I was very excited about it. I ended up making another one as well as a zippered pouch. I need to get a new SD card for my camera and I'll start posting pics of what I make. I was amazed at how easy the pin cushion and the pouch was. I got some neat patterns online that are so simple!! Today was low volume mail day. I didn't get anything from swap-bot, but I did get a book from paperbackbook.com. So I'm excited because I have been looking forward to this book.

My First Blog!!!

So this is the first time I have ever had a blog. I am wanting to have an online place that shows what crafts I do for others to check out if they wish. I also like having someone to 'talk to' every so often, even if it seems like I'm talking to myself!! lol
